A Tribute to Our Founder, Herbert Ricklin (1932-2012)

REA was founded in 1981 by Herb Ricklin, a visionary who had the entrepreneurial spirit to start a small human resources consulting firm specializing in career transition services.  Soon after the firm’s establishment, Herb identified a niche market whose needs were not being met by traditional outplacement services. REA became the pioneer of spousal assistance services uniquely designed to meet the career and transition needs of the accompanying partner of relocating employees.

Herb had an immeasurable impact on the relocation industry and was highly regarded by all who knew him. It is through Herb’s invaluable guidance and collaboration with the REA leadership team that the company is today the industry leader in providing career and acclimation support to families in transition worldwide.
